One of the most popular aromatherapy methods is personalized aroma pendants. A unique hybrid of jewelry and a small aroma lamp, this allows you to create your own fragrant talisman that will not only complement your personal scent and become an integral part of your look, but also help you adjust your psychological states, relieve unpleasant symptoms, and harness the healing powers of essential oils without dedicating time to separate treatments and sessions.

Aroma pendants, or aroma medallions as they are also called, are ceramic, less commonly bone, precious stone, or wood vessels of various shapes with a hollow interior. They are always made of porous clay, which absorbs and preserves the unique aromas of essential oils for a long time.

An aroma medallion is a universal inhaler, the most compact and space-saving, with a pinpoint (focused) effect that allows you to constantly enjoy the aroma of essential oils, affecting your body and emotional and psychological state over a long period of time.

Using an aromatherapy medallion is very simple: simply place it around your neck, like a necklace with a pendant. You can also hang it in your car or small room, and periodically hold it to your face for a stronger effect. Add 1 to a maximum of 3 drops of your chosen essential oil or essential oil blend. Refill the aromatherapy medallion with oils once every three days: this is how long the personalized medallion's aromatic effects last. Refilling aromatherapy medallions more frequently is not recommended. To extend the time between refills, you can place a piece of cotton wool or a sponge inside the medallion.

If you've never used aromatherapy medallions before, start by wearing it for one hour at a time, gradually increasing the time of contact based on how you feel. It's not recommended to use a single aromatic blend for more than three weeks.

The only drawback of pendants is that they cannot be completely eliminated. Therefore, a single aromatherapy pendant, without the effect of mixing and lingering aromas from previously used essential oils, can only be used for one oil or essential blend. A solution is to use pendants that have already been dripped with complementary oils or one of the oils in the blend: in this case, the "previous" aromatherapy treatments will not affect the effectiveness of the pendant. Thanks to their affordable price, aromatherapy pendants can be changed frequently.

At least once a month and before each oil change, pendants should be washed with a baking soda solution, aired, and washed again in water and vinegar.

The main use of personal aromatherapy medallions is to prevent infectious and viral diseases, boost the immune system, and treat colds and flu. However, today, aromatherapy medallions are also increasingly used to lift mood, change emotional states, improve productivity and concentration, and relieve tension, fatigue, and stress.
