The Wandering Moon Tarot cards are an unusual author's deck with minimalistic black and white illustrations, lunar symbolism and a deep intuitive mood. Her visual language is built on a combination of traditional tarot archetypes with subtle esoteric images that allow her to focus not on details, but on her own feelings and associations.

Deck maker Rachael Jean is an Australian artist and independent tarot author working under the name The Wandering Moon Co., now MoonHaus Studio. In 2020, during the lockdown, she began to draw and create her own deck on her own, combining traditional tarot symbolism with a minimalistic artistic style.

The Wandering Moon Tarot project launched on Kickstarter in early 2021 and reached full support in just 35 minutes. Originally created as an independent author's work, the deck received a lot of attention due to its unusual combination of manual graphics, lunar themes and an intuitive approach to tarot.

The deck is based on the traditional tarot system, but its visual presentation is deliberately minimalistic. Black and white images seem to leave room for imagination, allowing the reader himself to "enter" the map and feel its mood.
